Male Arrested for Thefts

On October 4th, 2017 officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service’s Break and Enter Unit arrested 20 year old Christian Tucci of Wellington Street East for theft and possession of stolen property.


It is alleged that on August 16th, 2017 the accused stole a wallet from a parked vehicle and used a bank card to make just under $130.00 in purchases.  Later, on September 20th, 2017 the accused again took a wallet from a parked motor vehicle.  The accused then again used the victim’s bank card to make purchases. 


Officers located the accused on October 4th and he was taken into custody.  Upon his arrest the accused was found to be in possession of a small amount of heroin and methamphetamine.  He has been charged 2 counts of theft under $5,000, 2 counts of possession of property obtained by crime and 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance.  He will appear in court on November 20th, 2017.
