On January 19, 2020 between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. two males were assaulted within a residence in the 100 block of Albert Street West. One victim sustained serious injuries, while the other sustained non-life threatening injuries. Both were taken to hospital.Officers with Investigation Services continue to investigate the incident. On January 18, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 54 year old David Kastendieck of Broadview Drive for impaired driving.At 10:30 a.m. police observed the accused driving on Second Line West and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. On January 20, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 32 year old Clinton Whalen of Wilcox Avenue for impaired driving. Just after midnight on January 20, 2020 officers observed the accused driving and conducted a traffic stop. Upon approaching the vehicle officers detected the smell of alcohol on his breath.
